Our practice history

Cardiology at Promenadeplatz over time

Our practice was founded in 1993 by Dr Jürgen Wagner and Dr Alexander Zitzmann after taking over an internal medicine practice and was initially run as a joint practice with two partners. In 2004, Dr Irmingard Reindl moved to our current practice premises and expanded the joint practice. Since 2019, Dr Benedikt Bunz has succeeded Dr Jürgen Wagner, who left the practice for reasons of age.

The team of doctors was further expanded when Dr Bernhard Nagel joined in 2023. On 31.12.2025, Dr Irmingard Reindl left the practice as a partner and handed over her seat to Dr Martin Hassenpflug, who took over the practice. Medical team since the end of 2025. Dr Reindl continues to support the practice once a week as an employed doctor.

In our completely renovated and newly furnished practice, you can look forward to an appealing atmosphere and modern, spacious rooms. Here, our entire team will take the time for your individual consultation, examination, and treatment – in an atmosphere that combines medical expertise with personal care.

As a practice specialising in conservative medicine, our aim is to provide effective primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases as an interface between GPs and clinics. To this end, we work closely with specialised clinics, specialist practices and GPs.
